Somalia’s South west administration on Sunday held an extraordinary meeting on security in Baidoa to stop string Al-shabaab attacks in Bay region.
Top security chiefs including AMISOM officers with selected residents have been called to attend the meeting which has highlighted recent assassinations and ways of maintaining security across the state.
South west officials have asked residents to collobrate with the local authorities in the district to fill security gaps which is reportedly dissipated important relations between the two sides.
The administration had recently librated rebel held towns in Baay and Bakool regions.
