Muqdisho(INO)-More than 14 Somali jihadists from different locations in Europe and US have joined ISIS within a short period of time according to Daily Mail’s latest reports on ISIS escalation alerts.
Roughly 15 young Somalis have fled from their homes in Minnesota and elsewhere in the region to fight for the Islamist groups in Iraq and Syria.
The group’s fresh recruited fighters have been growing and accustomed to post their pictures on social media accounts, praising Jihad against the west.
Speaking to Minnesota based Radio Abdurrahman Mohamed an ISIS follower, who left from Minneapolis, said that western countries are lampooning Islam and Muslims around the globe.
“I believe that I am fighting for Allah’s sake “Abdurahman Mohamed said. Many Somalis and foreigners who visited Iraq and Syria last year stayed behind to fight for the group. More than 500 British citizens also are believed to have traveled to Syria and Iraq since 2011.
