People in Baidabo have come out today in large number to show support for the new elected president of South West Somalia-Three regions Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan took to the streets of Baidoa today, Sahalnews reports.
The people who came out for the public rally have gathered the headquarters of Bay region gathered at Dr. Ayub stadium in the heart of the town.
The security of Baidao, the provincial capital of Bay region had been stepped up by Somali forces along with African Union troops.
Former speaker of transitional federal government parliament, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan, was on Monday 17th November elected as the president of regional state of South West Somalia.
