Delegates including local officials and traditional elders will be dispatched to Mahas town to intervene and resolve the renewed clashes in some areas of Hiraan region, the administration said.
Speaking to Media, Hiraan deputy governor, Hussein Osman Ali said that it is the right time for the administration to play it role to ease the conflicts that erupted in areas under Mahas town.
“We want to intervene the situation and to bring lull which can lead to complete cease fire. We want to call both sides to negotiating table to iron out their differences,” he said.
The situation is calm and things returned back to normal after the battle between the clan militias subsided.
