Muqdisho(INO)-Ahlu Suna Waljama’ administration in Central Somalia has distanced itself from the clashes in Dusamareeb District, Mustaqbal radio reported.
The Administration chairman Sheikh Omar Abdiqadir stated that they are not part of the conflict and called the residents to not listen to the rumors accusing Ahlu sunna on igniting the war.
Noting that those fighting with the government forces are militia with Ahlu sunna uniform but not authorized force by the administration.
The chairman appealed to all parties involved to immediately stop the conflict and give priority to the people’s needs.
