Dubia(INO)-Somali musician, Mohamed Weli Hassan died in Dubai. He was in the Somali National Band, Waaberi where he was a well known musician.
The musician died of a cardiac failure. He was embarking a work related trip when he suddenly passed on. The journey would have otherwise taken him to Kuwait. The deputy manager of Waberi, Mohamed Hassan Barrow confirmed the death of the great musician. Mr. Barrow said the musician was in the plane when he died.
Officials from the Ministry of Information sent condolence messages to the family and friends of the deceased musician. The outgoing Minister, Mustaf Sheikh Ali Duhulow, the new Minister of the Ministry of Information, his deputy and the State Minister for the Ministry of Info all sent such condolence messages.
Also, the executive director of the same ministry and all the staff members of the same ministry condoled with the son of the deceased musician, Senior Photographer of the Ministry of Information, Abdulkadir Mohamed Hassan aka Timoos. They also sent a similar condolence message to all the other family members and friends of the deceased musician.
