Unknown gunmen suspected to be Al Shabaab members have shot and killed two members of Somali National Army (SNA) in Mogadishu on last night.
According to the witnesses, two pistil-wielding men have carried out the murder of the SNA soldier which occurred at Mogadishu’s Tarabunka junction last night.
Reports said the gunmen have fled from the scene before the arrival of the security forces who later conducted an investigation into the shooting incident.
In a separate incident, unidentified assailants killed another soldier in Suqa Holaha area in Mogadishu, where is believed to be a hotbed for Al Shabaab militants.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but police said they believed Al Shabaab was responsible for both killings in Mogadishu last night.
