The northeastern semi-autonomous state of Puntland announced it suspended the ballot to elect the MPs of the country’s lower house in Garowe on Sunday.
Puntland declared the parliamentary polls after Somali government gave Somaliland extra members of both Lower and upper houses of the next Somali federal parliament.
