The interim Galmudug administration has called on its main rival Puntland state to review its recent decision to ban on public transportations from south of Galkayo city.
The minister of constitution for Galmudug Osman Mohamed Ali, told media the ban has resulted an impact on the daily life of the ordinary people in Galmudug territory.
“I call for peace and co-existence among the people in south and north of Galkayo,” Ali said
Galmudug minister of constitution has also urged Somali federal government and the international community to intervene in the deadlock between his administration and Puntland.
Puntland has banned last week all vehicles from the southern Galkayo city, following twin suicide car bomb attacks on local government HQ and market in northern Galkayo.
