An estimated of 20 people were killed, and scores wounded in an ongoing fierce clashes between Al shabaab and local militiamen in southern Mudug region in central Somalia.
The battle broke out after the local militiamen launched a counterpart attack on Dumaye locality, about 50km away from the Al shabaab-held Harardere town.
The fighting is raging on for the second day in the outskirts of Dumaye, where both sides are engaging heavy and small weapons that forced residents to flee.
