The envoy of IGAD for Somalia Mohamed Abdi Afey and other diplomats are paying visit to Beledweyne city, on mission to boost up a federal state building process.
IGAD envoy held talks with traditional elders and discussed on the regional state formation for Hiiran and middle Shabelle regions going on in Jowhar city.
During the talks, Mr Afey has urged Hiiraan elders to fully participate the conference in Jowhar, to make an inclusive inter-regional federal state.
Jowhar state formation conference has been marred by a dispute over the power-sharing model between the local clans in the two regions in Central Somalia.
