Security forces of South west state of Somalia closed down Radio Afogye one Monday. The DC of Afgoye town Abdinasir Alim said they have ‘some issue with Radio’ and therefore, ‘investigating it’. However, the DC did specify the nature of the issue and how long it will take.
‘We are going to ask a number of questions to the Admin and the reporters of the Radio’ said the commissioner.
The director and reporters of Afgoye radio were not immediately available for comment.
