A car bomb has exploded near a busy market in Mogadishu on Saturday, witness said.
A witness in the scene said explosives-laden vehicle went off at Suqa-Berta junction in Mogadishu’s Waberi district, killings several civilians at the market.
Somali security forces cordoned off the scene near the site of the explosion as ambulances rushed to wounded persons to nearby hospitals, according the witness.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack in Mogadishu.
