The spokesman of Al shabaab Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rageh known as (Ali Dhere) said they are determined to disrupt the upcoming Somali elections scheduled to take place later this year.

Ali Dheere said Al shabaab fighters will launch attacks against the polling stations in the country, to prevent Somalia from holding an election, which he said will serve foreign agendas.

Al shabaab spokesman Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rageh has sent a stern warning to the 135-elders who are expected to pick up the lawmakers of the forthcoming Somali parliament.

The Al shabaab warning comes as Somalia is set to elect new president on 30 October, 2016. The militants have recently carried out a spate of attacks over the past few weeks.
