The leaders of Somali federal government and regional administrations are set to hold a National leadership forum (NLF) in Mogadishu on Tuesday, reports said.
The NLF is expected to kick off in the capital later today, with reports that presidents of the regional states will attend to meeting, to discuss the country’s electoral process.
During the consultative forum, Somali leaders will focus on the selection of lawmakers of the upper house in the next parliament and model of the presidential election.
On Monday, the members of Somalia’s election commission have held first meeting in Mogadishu and announced the national plan for the 2016 election due to later this year .
