At least four people were injured in a car accident in Mogadishu, in which an armored vehicle belonging to AMISOM was involved, according to AU mission spokesman.
Joe Kibet, AMISOM spokesman said the car accident took place between Afisyoni and KM-4 area in Mogadishu’s Waberi district on Tuesday when a civilian car collided with AMISOM vehicle.
AMISOM spokesman has confirmed the incident, and promised probe into the cause.
AMISOM armored vehicles often run over civilians and minibuses in Mogadishu when there is a traffic jam on the city’s main streets. The AU mission did nothing about the frequent accidents.
