A Somali official says a number of people have been rounded up in connection with last night grenade attack on a vehicle carrying security force in Mogadishu.
Da’ud Abdullah Nur, the deputy commissioner of Dharkenley district said the suspects were apprehended in dawn security sweep.
“The security officers are questioning several people at the city’s police station over a grenade attack on the DC’s private car last night,” Nur added.
The attack has left at least five people, including two security guards wounded, and there was no any claim of responsibility for the explosion in Dharkenley on Thursday night.
