Somali National Army (SNA) backed by armored vehicles have conducted on Thursday an operation to demolish business shops built illegally on the road linking Mogadishu to Afgoye.
Confirming the incident, Garasbaley administration said the troops razed many business buildings set up near army camp at Tabelaha area, located in the outskirts of Mogadishu.
The demolition has sparked outrage by the traders who used to live the income of their street business, and they have asked to government to relocate them to other illegal areas.
Somali government troops has not commented on the issue and there was no any outlined plane to create business opportunities for those who lost their properties and business in the demolition.
