The minister of interior and federal affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein Odawa has fired Kahda district commissioner Abdullah Hassan Badawi.
According to degree from the minister’s office, Mohamed Ismail Mo’allin was appointed as the new administrator of Kahda, replacing Badawi who has been in office for short-time.
Meanwhile, the minister has changed positions of Shangani and Hamarweyne districts in Mogadishu, a move termed as a mini-reshuffle of the city’s administration.
The minister’s decision followed a request from the Benadir regional administration Yusuf Hussein Jimale, who also wants three other district officials to be fired over unknown circumstances.
