Turkish Airlines plane flies without passengers after attack

Double car bombs near Mogadishu international airport have forced Turkish Airlines plane to immediately take off from the airport without passengers.

Two car bombs rocked Mogadishu that made the Turkish Airlines plane to leave behind passengers at the airport due to the insecurity and the attack.

The attack began with two simultaneous car bombs rammed into the gate of the Halane, the main AMISOM base in Somalia which locates beside the aiport.

At least 13 people, mostly security guards working for UN and Somali soldiers were killed in the attack which was claimed by Al Shabaab militants.

AMISOM said its soldiers are safe and sound after the attacks.
