Three critically wounded journalists in three different attacks on them in Mogadishu and receiving treatment in Madina hospital today received medical assistance from Mogadishu based news centers.
The journalists, Noore Mohamed Ali former marketing manager for Mustaqbal Media corporation, Ibrahim Abdullahi Sheelare and Abdirizak Elmi Jama’ Balck Somali Channel TV correspondent received US$1000, $500 and $1200 respectively.
The assistance was contribution made by Mustaqbal Radio,SNTV,Royal TV,Universal TV,Goobjoog FM,Al-jazeera,Reuters,Kulmiye,Dalsan,Star FM,GoolFM and other companies.
Mr. Noor sustained injuries after an explosive device was detonated in his car, while Ibrahim Sheelare got injured in a blast in Hamar Weyne district. And Abdirizak was shot by unknown gunmen outside his home in Howlwadaag neighborhood in the capital, Mogadisho.
