MN (INO)- Introduction: In a world full of insecurity, dilemma, misery, conflict, wars, hate crimes, sufferings, despair, hopeless, refugees, homeless, immigration, natural disaster, conflict, genocidal, displacement, poverty, hunger, and environmental pollution.
The continent of African has paid heavy prices, Somalia is one of the worst country affected by all these unintended consequences. Somalia had been a failed state for the last two decades, and half of its people live in extreme poverty and also most of them live below the poverty line.
Somalia needs massive humanitarian aid to stand its feet. Re-construction, rebuilding, and peace development is necessary for the reincarnation of Somalia.
The reincarnation of Somalia cannot be left only in the hands of Foreign humanitarian organizations, people of Somalia have the responsibility to re-build their country, through using strong local and international Somali Non-profit organizations, with pure intension of the re-birth of new Somalia, therefore, Arlaadi Aid was formed to help the humanitarian fiasco in Somalia and take these responsibility very serious with help of the Somalia people and international community to reach all people regardless of their background, religion, ethnicity, social and political affiliation, gender and economic influence.
Background Arlaadi Aid is 501 (3) c Non-profit humanitarian and developmental organization, based in Minnesota.
A group of dedicated people which include teachers, scholars, social workers, engineers, and students have established Arlaadi Aid on December 26 2014 with aim of improving the lives of millions of Somalia through socio-economic and educational developments. Objective To translate the mission/vision in to action, this could be measurable and valuable.
Specific Objectives
- Fight and reduce poverty, destitution, hunger and diseases
- Create better living condition to provide clean water, education and sanitation.
- Help re-build Somali’s weak local administration and capacity building.
- Provide socio-economic and education developments with the help of the local people and international bodies as well.
- Empower women and youth roles in community developments and peace management.
- Train youth for live skills, citizenship, responsibility, literacy, protection of environment and sports.

- Provide water during the drought in Somalia in 2015.
- Open schools as part of universal primary education for children under eighteen.
- Provide medical supply and equipment’s to hospitals and clinics.

The organization looks forward to implement more tangible programs and developments and bring sustainable improvements in the lives of Somali people, through education, humanitarian help, peace and conflict resolution as well as community organization and awareness, hence we need United Nations and international community to support the local and international Somali Non-profit organization and Arlaadi Aid being one and unique to implement its goals and missions, we also need help from Somali people all over the world to support the success and inspiration of Arlaadi Aid, so that the destitution and poverty in Somalia would come to an end.
