Muqdisho(INO)-One of the peacemakers who hail from Lower Shabelle told the Idale News Online that the administration of South-west State are taking steps that don’t please the people of South-west Somalia.
Suldaan Abdi Ali Abuukar said the outcomes of the Afgoye Reconciliation Conference were not implemented except that violence in the region decreased. He added that the president of South-west State of Somalia, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan wants to step on the peace-makers.
“Sharif Hassan wants to step on us. No one will accept his regional government”. Suldaan Abdi said. Recently Sharif Hassan adjourned that conference in question at Afgoi. However, peacemakers such as Suldaan Abdi lament that the outcomes were not implemented.
Recent reports say there is widespread fear in Lower Shabelle that the violence may re-escalate as the outcomes of the Afgoye Conference were not implemented.
