The Interim South West administration has announced a list of upper house candidates, becoming the fourth regional administration to make the declaration, Sunday Idale News Online Reports.
The emerged and emerging federal states of Somalia have been given two-day deadline to present their lists of upper house members, in a bid to avoid a another setback in the election.
South West president Shariff Hassan Sheikh Aden nominated 8-member candidates for upper house chamber, according to a statement obtained by South West State Based independent Station Idale News Online based in Baidoa.
Puntland, Galmudug and Jubbaland met the deadline given by the Somali electoral commission and put forward their quota seats in the upper house chamber of next Somali parliament.
