The members of the central semi-autonomous state of Galmudug are holding an extra-ordinary session to discuss absence of the top leaders from the region.
MP Abdi Hashi said Galmudug state parliament is mulling to file a motion against the speaker Ali Ga’al Asir and other top leaders.
“They have obviously violated the state’s constitution, so that we should held them accountable for their mistakes and absence of the offices,” he added.
The president of Galmudug state Abdikrim Hussein Guled is reported to be in Mogadishu and he is expected to announce his candidacy for Somali president.
