Unknown gunmen have shot and killed a journalist working for independent Radio Shabelle based in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, witness and relatives said.
Journalist Abdi Aziz Mohamed Ali (Haji) was gunned down by two men armed with pistols as he was on his way to home in Mogadishu’s Yaqshid district, relatives confirmed to Radio Shabelle.
The killers escaped from the crime scene uncaught.
No group claimed responsibility for the murder of the journalist.
