Unidentified Gunmen forced the telecommunications companies in the country’s southern port city of Marka, to turn off their mobile service on Friday morning.

The gunmen stormed the telecom companies buildings in Marka town, and ordered the operators to switch off all services over undisclosed circumstances.

After the shut down, thousands of local customers have been unable to use their mobiles and landlines, making their communications very complicated.
